CASACOR Balneário Camboriú 2023: Bold colors and emotions revealed
CASACOR Balneário Camboriú 2023 takes center stage, with 27 environments designed across three floors of the building, all inspired by the main theme, “Body & Home”. We will explore in detail the highlights of this interior design exhibition that seeks to combine architecture, as well as design and art from Santa Catarina.
Well-being and Self-Care: The focus of CASACOR Balneário Camboriú
Mental well-being and self-care are topics that have become increasingly relevant in our society. In this way, CASACOR Balneário Camboriú embraced these concepts as the core of the 2023 edition, under the theme “Body & Address”. Therefore, the professionals involved in the exhibition seek to demonstrate how architecture, design and art can contribute to mental health care. In other words, environments that promote moments of connection with oneself and others.
The Lorena House: A Sensory Experience
One of the spaces that perfectly exemplifies this approach is “Morada Lorena”, designed by Bianca Rieg. Firstly, this environment is a true refuge, where textures and colors of nature merge harmoniously with plants and different types of wood. As well, the environment is also enriched by collections full of souvenirs from Bianca's grandparents' house. In this way, copyright photographs and pieces by local artisans tell stories of the region of the family farm, located in the interior of Santa Catarina.
The Rescue of Memories: Studio of Memories
In contrast to the growing influence of technology in our lives, the “Studio de Memórias”, designed by Lia Herrman and Ana Tomazelli from Studio Zaliah, seeks to disconnect and take us back to the present. Therefore, this space invites people to come home, recover their memories and relax. In other words, inspired by nature, the organic forms of the environment defy traditional architectural conventions. In this way, it creates the feeling of fluidity and harmony with angles and curved lines.
Man Cave by Quality Home: To Celebrate Life
The “Man Cave by Quality Home” was designed with the aim of creating memories among men with a young spirit. Therefore, this environment is the perfect place to celebrate achievements and share emotions with friends. As well as, equipped with a pool table, barbecue and cocktails, this space, designed by architects Keli Maksimiuk and Rafaela Rosa, is intended to be lived intensely.

In other words, the exhibition raises questions relevant to the current moment.
Bold Colors and Emotions Revealed
Among the 27 environments in the exhibition, you can find a surprising variety of bold colors. Therefore, this creative choice is intended to provoke visitors. In other words, offering a striking contrast in relation to the lighter tones present in other spaces. In this way, these vibrant and expressive colors invite joy, personality and relaxing breaks. As a result, they are ideal for late afternoon cocktails and pleasant evenings.
