CASACOR Florianópolis 2023: the celebration of Architecture and Sustainability in Floripa

CASACOR Florianópolis 2023 has been open to the public since the 17th. This year's event drew inspiration from the central theme of "Body & Home," creating the 32 spaces that transformed part of the former Maria do Mar Hotel. The exhibition's headquarters are located in an area of nearly 10,000 m² in the João Paulo neighborhood. The spaces reflect interpretations of the impact of daily life on health, as well as on people's well-being and comfort, which reverberates throughout the planet.

Diving-Sensory, by BCH Arquitetos (Betina Chede and Talita Coral)

BCH Arquitetos, led by Betina Chede and Talita Coral, invites you to explore Sensory Diving at CASACOR Florianópolis 2023. In this way, this space is an ode to the body, which absorbs stimuli and preserves feelings, weaving stories and memories. In other words, touched by sunlight, celestial nuances, vibrant colors and aromas that transport us, it incorporates nature inside and outside itself.

Therefore, with the sensitivity of arts, music and fashion, this environment is configured as an open-air square. In other words, where earth, water, fire and air merge harmoniously, anchoring us in the present, here and now.

Maria e o Mar – Café, Bistro and Wine Bar, by Alpes Arquitetura

The integrated functional space, which hosts many conversations over fine drinks and the show's special menus, boasts sweeping ocean views. Nature is embraced in the Maria e o Mar Café, Bistrô e Wine Bar project. Therefore, the professionals chose light colors for the base and some contrasting black and wood.

Casa Horizonte, by Beatriz Zeglin

Architect Beatriz Zeglin, responsible for the “Casa Horizonte” project and the interior design of the future residential development, created a route that offers different points of view. In other words, every angle was carefully thought out to frame the natural landscape in a spectacular way. An organic line permeates the environment, reminiscent of the slopes on the island, which merge with the sensorial element that water brings. As well, the bar functions as a centerpiece and draws attention to its cantilevered sculptural form. In materials, purity is revealed in wood and natural stones, elements present in DNA.

Let it be Home, by Sum + Studio

If the environment created by architect Bruno Sposito were a musical style, it would certainly be bossa nova: smooth, striking, welcoming and full of personality. And even the name matches this atmosphere: “Let it be Home”. The 94 square meter space marks the professional's debut at CASACOR Florianópolis and has different sectors: a gourmet kitchen and two rooms (dining and TV). The architect opted for a neutral palette, with white and reddish color spots. For the floor, the professional opted for planks made of two types of wood from a work she signed four years ago. In other words, what would have been discarded became something special.
