SUNSET IN FLORIANÓPOLIS: FROM JOÃO PAULO TO JURERÊ INTERNACIONAL
Sunset in Florianópolis: Initially, the João Paulo neighborhood is among the most valued, along with Centro, Campeche and Jurerê Internacional. As pointed out in a recent survey by Zap Imóveis.
João Paulo is immersed in nature and close to all the necessary infrastructure to live in comfort, safety and tranquility. With a privileged location, next to Cacupé, the neighborhood connects with the city center. In this way, for many it is an extension of the north seafront avenue. As well, it is at the central point between the path to the northern beaches, and very close to the meeting point of Lagoa da Conceição and beaches on the East Coast.
A dream: living next to the best cuisine in Floripa
Another factor that sets the region apart is having one of the city's most acclaimed gastronomic hubs nearby, the charming Santo Antônio de Lisboa. There are several fine cuisine restaurants such as o Rosso, the award-winning Amalfi and the recently opened incredible point the Feeling Floripa.
Talking a little about these two neighborhoods, the proximity of the technology hubs is another strong point of João Paulo and Santo Antônio. With the dizzying growth of technology in Florianópolis, also known as the “Silicon Island”.
The state of Santa Catarina has 20% of national startups. And the capital of Santa Catarina, with just 3% of the Brazilian population, is the champion in technology companies. The capital of Santa Catarina is famous for its quality of life, having the third highest GDP per capita in the country.
The city has grown at an intense pace, and in this scenario, Florianópolis has been building its history in technology. Already for a few decades and startups from Santa Catarina have stood out worldwide, hence the nickname Silicon Island.

The association @acate.sc is one of the main interlocutors between technology companies in the city and state, and the State.
Acate (Associação Santa Catarina de Tecnologia) is the main representative of innovative entrepreneurship in Santa Catarina. There are more than 1200 members in the 13 innovation and technology hubs in Santa Catarina, located in the ACATE Primavera Innovation Center (on SC-401, the “Rota of Innovation”), at CIA Downtown, in the city center, and also at CIA Sapiens, located in the Sapiens Parque technology park, in the North of the Island.
Following the coast, we find two more very special places in the capital: Sambaqui. Famous for the bars on the seafront promenade that allow for that special evening with delicious snacks, as well as an incredible view of the north bay and the continent.
