O Floripa Film Fest nasce com a missão de levar ao público um olhar único e artístico sobre o universo do surfe. Portanto, durante três dias, o Hotel Selina na Mole Beach se transformará em um verdadeiro cinema ao ar livre, exibindo mais de 30 produções audiovisuais de altíssima qualidade.
The event will be attended by internationally renowned directors, such as Australian Dave Fox, South African Tao Farren, Spanish Jon Aspuru and French Paul Lavoine. In this way, these big names will join a talented crop of Brazilian directors. Including Pepe Cezar, Loic Wirth, Giulia Panzetti, Henrique Pinguim, Anna Veronica, Duda Saracura, Ana Clara Felix and Bruno Zanin.

Uma das grandes vantagens do Floripa Film Fest é a acessibilidade. Portanto, a exibição dos filmes no telão de mais de 6 metros acontece ao ar livre, no charmoso Hotel Selina da Mole Beach. There will be almost 20 hours of screenings, in other words, providing a true immersion into the universe of surfing through cinema. The full program has not yet been released, but the organization has already announced some of the highlights that the public will be able to see:
- Unreleased documentaries: The festival will be the stage for the world premiere of some documentaries about surfing, promising to reveal new and exciting stories about renowned athletes and paradisiacal locations.
- Commented sessions: There will be sessions with the presence of the directors themselves, that is, they will share insights and curiosities about the film creation process.
- Competitive show: The Floripa Film Fest will feature a competitive exhibition, where the best films will compete for awards in the categories of best short, best medium, best feature and popular vote.
