Florianópolis Ranks First Again in the Connected Smart Cities Ranking
Florianópolis in the first place once again in a prominent position by being elected the smartest city in Brazil in 2024. The ranking, released on September 3, was carried out by the consultancy Urban Systems and evaluates 74 indicators in areas such as health, mobility, economy, security and housing.
With a total score of 37,525 points, Florianópolis tops the list of cities with the greatest potential for urban development in the country. But what does it mean to be a "smart city"? How does this position impact the future of our city?
