Property Valuation: How much does a square meter of high-end properties cost in Florianópolis?
A publication made by NSC Total informs that the July FipeZap showed that four cities in Santa Catarina analyzed by the index had an appreciation three times greater than the national standard in the last twelve months.
While the ranking of the 50 cities monitored, across the country, including in the capitals, was 5.97% of appreciation per square meter, in Camboriú, Itapema, Itajaí and São José, prices rose by at least 19%.
Balneário leads the ranking, with the most expensive square meter in the country, with an average of R$10,221.00. The increase was 22.88% in recent months.

According to the publication, in the other municipalities in Santa Catarina that are analyzed by the index, property values are also above the national average. Florianópolis has seen an increase of 13,42% in recent months. Joinville is right behind, with 10,77%.
With these results, all cities evaluated in Santa Catarina had an appreciation above inflation in the period. The IGP-M states that in recent months inflation was 10.08%. The national average variation in property prices, however, was much lower, at 5.97%.
Santa Catarina has more significant rates, which shows the growth in the sector in the State.
In the last month, assessed by FipeZap, prices in the national real estate market rose above inflation. The average variation was 0.52%, while inflation measured by the IGP-M is 0.21%. All cities evaluated in Santa Catarina continue to be above average in property valuation.
